VLC crashes on fullscreen

    Did some searching but couldn't find anything about this.

    Playing videos in VLC works, but when I put them fullscreen VLC crashes. I can reproduce this on three of the computers I own, and they have vastly different hardware setups.

    Anyone know how to fix this? It's the only thing stopping me from using SliTaz as my primary OS.

    EDIT: hm, interesting, it seems that even resizing the window causes a segfault... this happens with both ffplay and vlc :x

    Any ideas?

    Start VLC from xterm and show us it's crash log.

    This is the result of doing vlc --verbose 2 1> /home/tux/vlccrash.txt 2>&1, running the video for 2 seconds, then going fullscreen.

    Tried starting in fullscreen straight on launch, tried turning off hardware acceleration, tried using all of the possible video output modules. All of them have the same end result.

    It's more than that -- as I say, ffplay does it too. Maybe one of the dependencies is bad?
