eee 900a install help request. how do you get wireless to work?

    i am having trouble getting the wireless to work on my eee 900a. i would like to install slitaz on my computer .
    i am sorry if this is a silly question but i am very new at this. i am booting from a usb drive.

    Does it detect your wireless card?

    What is your wireless card?

    What step during configuring do you have the problem?

    Hi jeff

    I've got the same eee . Your wireless card use the ath5k module . This one is already include in Slitaz 3 and is loaded at boot time .

    So , no problem !

    Just enter in terminal

    root@slitaz:~# wifibox

    Then configuration , use wlan0 interface , put your ESSID, key and it's type.

    And Press "Start connection" That's it

    Also , your internet connection will be saved in etc/network.conf
