Problem compiling using gcc
  • Hello everyone, I have a problem here.

I try to compile macchanger, I need gcc to make that, I used tazpkg and dl everyone I could. Well those are my errors:

When I type ./configure I received "configure error C compiler cannot create executables" then I saw config.log to errors:

"version GLIBC_2.11 not found (required by gcc)" I have glib_2.11.1 by tazpkg then I downloaded the GLIB_2.11 without .1 from the net, and I´ve tried to compile it, but I received the same error. How can I force gcc to use GLIBC 2.11.1 ? Thanks in advanced

Easy way to setup slitaz to compile :

    root@slitaz: tazpkg get-install slitaz-toolchain

Meta tazpkg installs: binutils linux-headers glibc-dev gcc make
  • yep, I have already tried it, I just reinstall slitaz again and just typed that, same error. Thanks for your time.

    Another idea?

Download a deb, convert it to tazpkg, install the tazpkg.
    root@slitaz:tazpkg convert macchanger_1.5.0-3_i386.deb

    followed by
    root@slitaz: tazpkg install macchanger-1.5.0-3.tazpkg
  • thanks again for your time, mojo, its working now ;)

cya and have a nice day
