How to boot slitaz like ubuntu, knoppix, etc
  • zealkaiserzealkaiser December 2010
    I have slitaz 3.0
I have frugal installed it on my Harddisk.
My problem is that after installing packages like gcc, blender, etc size of rootfs has gone beyond 200MB although it is compressed with gzip.

Although I have a large RAM, but i still want that it does not load into ram completely.

Is there any way to boot slitaz like ubuntu, knoppix, etc where system does not load completely into ram.
These distros have squashfs filesystem. How can I impliment it to slitaz
