Also remember to install the cups package and to add cupsd to Menu--> System Tools --> Control Box--> Initialization under the Run Daemon box. Remember to click change before closing it ;-)
Chrome needs cups to be running to work - don't ask me why though :-/
Also, try switching to the superuser account ('root') and using TazPkg as the root user. It needs administrative privileges. Documentation on this can be found over at http://doc.slitaz.org .
You may just be able to switch to root and run get-google-chrome
