I don't know why are you becoming so impatient. There is already a RC, which is to sort out bugs. Please use it first and report errors rather than demanding 3.0. There are still few bugs/issues remaining. We must close them first.
You should not be scared. This is exactly why RC is released. After booting with new RC, upgrade your system and see if things work. Many outstanding bugs have been fixed. If not, try to report the issues on the labs tracker. See if you can help to resolve the issue on your side. We want to close all such bugs. Everyone's help in resolving bugs is appreciated.
After booting the RC disc image (ISO), run the package manager and update all the packages. This will ensure that all the bug-fixes that have been included in packages newer than those on the disc are installed to your system.
You can upgrade your system by using the Package Manager GUI (Refresh Lists & Update All) or through the terminal with:
su - (root password is by default: root) tazpkg recharge && tazpkg upgrade
No matter if you use the GUI or terminal, the process is exactly the same.
I've said like a fool that nothing workswith the last cooking.. God , forgive me , I've just replace the rootfs.gz and kept the old vmlinux ... :/
