Toshiba Satellite: Starting with floppy is possible, but no booting from CD-ROM is possible

    Hello
    The following problem appears:
    With an Toshiba Satellite (16 MB Ram): Starting with floppy is possible, but no booting from CD-ROM. (-> no bootable Disk)
    From the installed windows the CD can be seen and opened.

    Will the slitaz livecd boot up on the computer you used to burn it ?

    No: the slitaz iso could be corrupt(md5sum) or you got a bad burn.

    Yes: the Toshiba bios/cdrom doesn't support booting from livecd
