Installation problem

I'm new in Linux and I have started to install throw PC virtual 2007. But I had a problem.I received the message: "Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill the idle task!" I have 512MB in host and for Linux I have put 128MB. Wherther anybody knows where problem is.
