I'm trying a stable install of slitaz 3.0 stable on my laptop under the vesa drivers. When I boot up or type startx, the screen turns horrible corrupted colors. I've tried updating 3.0 stable to the newest version. Could this just be an incompatibility with the drivers?

I've looked in my Xorg.0.log, but no error is even recorded. The only error that seems to be important is this:


error setting MTRR (base = 0xe8000000, size=0x007d0000, type = 1) Invalid argument (22)


After researching this, it appears this is a minor error and the driver flat-out won't work with my card.

Any ideas?
