Hi , ve the same eee900A working perfectly on Slitaz 3

If you are currently on windows, I recommend you to use une unetbootin
to install a Live Slitaz on USB

As you are on eee with intel graphic ship , use this iso
    http://mirror.slitaz.org/iso/3.0/flavors/slitaz-3.0-xvesa.iso

After booting on usb, log with root , password root (no problem on eee900a),

    - wifi configuration : in terminal write

    root@slitaz:~# wifibox

    - to install Slitaz (but I recommend u warmly to use Slitaz rather in RAM)

    root@slitaz:~# slitaz-installer

    --------------

If you want further informations .. ask , because Slitaz is for sure one of the best
    Linux.

i downloaded the iso above slitaz-3.0-xvesa.iso with the help of unibooten. then i tried to boot on my eee900a. no problems found. then i tried to install using the slitaz installer. i us the new install option and get the following error message
    unable to find: rootfs.gz

    what do i do next.

Yep .. that's normal . Once booted and logged, remove your usb and plug it on again.
Then mounted it like as /media/cdrom (then the slitaz installer will consider your usb as a cdrom) (you can found the tool to mount a usb in menu -> System tool)

    Is wireless ok ?

    Keep in touch.

PS: As I said before , Slitaz is fully cool when launched in RAM . Did you notice that the Flash HD is just a piece of sh** ? It's very very slow ... and couldn't imagine how you cop with your previous heavy Linux distribution .. So if you change your mind, I can explain you what to do ;)

thank you again. i will try your suggestions tonight. my "plan" was to launch from ram.
