I think downloading the source would be much better, just extract flashpulgin to our browser, and it's done. But haven't tried yet on SliTaz, I was using manually install on Slackware...

slitaz is different with those linux,
use this:
tazpkg get-install get-flash-plugin

I have downloaded Firefox from it's official web, and it's still can't play youtube on the web because it's lack of plugin.

that's it, I have done it. Here's what I do:
- download Firefox from Mozilla Firefox
- download flashplayer plugin from adobe website
- extract Firefox to home folder
- extract libflashplayer and copy: libflashplayer.so to Firefox/plugins.

I can play youtube video now.

the easiest way is:

tazpkg get-install get-flash-plugin  && get-flash-plugin

the get-flash-plugin creates a pseudo-package that get installed by the script itself, so you can manage flash-plugin through tazpkg without having in your system files ignored by tazpkg

Slitaz is not based on other distro, as as far as i can understand. Tazpkg is Slitaz's package system and provides a way to convert packages from other distro:
"tazpkg convert".

With 3.0, one should be able to install flash player, just by doing:

 tazpkg get-install get-flash-plugin 

Also 3.0 has a "watch video" .desktop file that will install get-flash-plugin automatically (if not found) along with mplayer and mplayer browser plugin for your multimedia demands.

Hopefully, this will work out-of-the-box otherwise we fix the bug.

EDIT: SliTaz is offcourse not based on any linux distribution. It's written from scratch. But you can convert packages from other distribution using tazpkg.

well I've tried every sugested line in xterm to load flashplayer and nothing. I'm running ophcrack liveCD and have no knowlage of linux at all.New raw user and I need help as I don't understand none of this . PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Maybe you are "tux" user and not "root" (=administrator). So enter in the terminal

"su" , then the password of root ... which is "root" as well

then, simply enter the following line

tazpkg get-install get-flash-plugin && get-flash-plugin

You may wait for a little while and your connection to internet must work
