MIME Type warning message

    When I installed some packages in Cooking 04112010 the following warning message was given;

    Warning in file "/usr/share/applications/pcmanfm-folder-handler.desktop": usage of MIME type "x-directory/gnome-default-handler" is discouraged ("x-directory" is an old media type that should be replaced with a modern equivalent)

    Is there a fix for this?

    No and don't worry about it. It's just a stupid warning that doesn't cause any problems what so ever. It's like the stricter errors in php - just a pain more than anything.

    like Trixar_za said it is not an harmful error, but if you want to get rid of it just edit the two desktop files removing the offendig x-directory media-type
