mhWaveEdit blows out

    Trying to use mhWaveEdit to record an audio stream (from BBC iPlayer), I set up a sample format and recording time, click "Start recording" and the program simply disappears. Tried various combinations of sample format etc but the same thing happens every time. Any ideas?

    Edit/Preferences/Files tab
    Browse/Add a valid location for temporary sound files
