Hi)
I have compied Xvesa as told here. When I tried to start it i saw only mouse with cross-cursor and standard background.
When I tried to start Xvesa with JWM I've got
error: could not open display
from JWM and again mouse with cross-cursor and standard babkground.
I have no idea what it might be.
Please, help me.

Why are you building it from scratch?
Why not just use the xvesa version found here:
http://mirror.switch.ch/ftp/mirror/slitaz/iso/stable/flavors/
