User groups

    Hello,
    I need certain "levels" of user groups. For instance, one group can only run OpenOffice, another group can access the internet, etc.

    Is it possible to do this?

    Nobody answered my similar question on the old forum but maybe try-

    add group openoffice
    add users to group
    change usr/share openoffice properties ownership to group openoffice and no permission to others

    Please let me know if it works.

    Possibly rename the openoffice executable and replace it with a script that checks the current users group, runs the renamed executable if it's okay? I suppose that's the hackers way of doing it :D
