I'm having an odd installation problem. I was installing Opera when the drive ran out of space, which caused everything to halt. After this, get-opera was "installed" but Opera itself was not. Uninstalling and re-installing get-opera didn't actually install Opera. I'm kinda stuck. I could install it by hand, but there are a lot of dependencies.
On top of all this, installing get-opera from the Package Manager (as opposed to the command line) causes the install script to suggest removing zlib, which is not good, esp. since it's rather hard to actually install zlib (as I found out) as it's bundled inside base.....
So, how to I tell tazpkg that I want to re-install get-opera with all the dependencies resolved? I tried --forced in both get-install and remove, it did not help.
Make sure you have 75MB free space before you use get-opera It downloads an opera.rpm extracts contents to /tmp , converts to tazpkg, installs/extracts tazpkg, then finally deletes the tazpkg As you found the extracting/converting takes up a lot of space.
