  • RenegadoRenegado August 2010
    Dear gentlemen,

I'm a rookie about Slitaz and i have a serial RS232 connector on my board too.

is there any driver/package to install it. If so, how can i test if Slitaz is recognizing the serial connector or not?

Is there any kind of programm that verifies this for me?

Also, please see the boards specs below:

    Mini-ITX format

    1 HDMI connector
    1VGA connector

    HD: 160 GB
    RAM: 2GB
    Processor: Sempron 210U/ Atlhon Neo X2 L325
    Slitaz version: 3.0

If you need more info please let me know

You know, you could have just said serial port hey.

By default you should be able to access it @ ttyS0 or ttyS1. You do not need any special driver or package for this functionality.

You can see a list of them by typing the following in xterm: ls /dev | grep ttyS

EDIT: Sorry about the multi-post. Was getting an error when I was posting.
