How to load kernel module at boot?
  • SlylockSlylock July 2010
I need to load kernel module agpgart before X starts, for Intel i810 graphics. What file do I need to modify to tell Slitaz to modprobe agpgart during boot? Sorry to post here, but I looked at the documentation and only found options for booting Live CD.

    Hi @Slylock --

You can find in the Control Box, under the Initialization tab, a field named "Load Modules," which appends them to the rcS.conf file. Enter any modules you need there, separated with spaces, and hit "Change".

As a side note, I have for my i915 graphics chip "i915 intel_agp".

    HIH.
