I have Slitaz 3.0 running on an IBM Thinkpad 390X w/ 256MB RAM. I can't get the wireless PCMCIA card to load. I followed the steps in the post below on this subject, but when I got here I had different results:
don't worry :-) reboot, modprobe pcnet_cs, and post the output of following commands:
Do I need a resource database? How do I do about building one? This computer has no network besides PCMCIA wireless, so it would have to be something I could load onto a flash drive.
The wireless card is a Senao Networks card Based on high performance AGERE chip Automatic data rate scaling at 11, 5.5, 2 and 1 Mbps Optimized throughput, range and connectivity IEEE 802.11b compliant Fully interoperable with IEEE802.11b compliant devices Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) encryption and decryption support Powerful data security at 64 and 128 bits
I know it works on Linux because I installed Debian with the text installer The installer loaded the NIC firmware, then brought up the network and configured apt. However, when I started an X session, the network card was not seen.
