SliTaz not booting any programs

My granddaddy passed away a few months ago and shortly before he died he bought an acer laptop with vista home premium. He had a password on it that none of us know now so im trying to find it so my grandmother can use the computer. I can get SliTaz to load but what i understand is that the program OphCrack is supposed to start up automatically but its not. I can get to the login in screen of slitaz and login in as root or "tux" but still dont know how to get ophcrack to run. Im useing a USB drive to boot. Thanks for your time lookin.

I assume you are using the OphCrack LiveCD that happens to be based on SliTaz? I believe on the OphCrack LiveCD you have to log-in as 'root' with the password of 'root' and continue from there. They have their own support forums etc. on their website too.
Alternatively, just log in as 'root' and use the file manager to peruse the drive. I think it's the case that the file-system isn't protected at all.
