    How can I disable the battery plugin on the live cd, I have no panel to used any app

    Right-click desktop to open xterm and in xterm enter-
    lxpanel

    If lxpanel starts, click (i forget right or left) the lxpanel bar to edit settings.

    If not, create/paste or edit a custom conf file at /home/tux/.config/lxpanel .

    Templates-
    /etc/lxpanel

    Logout and login again without shutting down.
