Well, dmes and messages are really big to be posted :(
Here is the beginning of my boot.log file :
>> cat /var/log/boot.log Processing /etc/init.d/rcS... Mounting proc filesystem... [ OK ] Searching for early boot options... [ OK ] Starting udev daemon... [ Failed ] Udevadm requesting events from the Kernel... [ OK ] UdeTvadm waiting for the event queue to finish... [ OK ] Checking filesystem on : /dev/hda2 ........
In fact, my question was quite general. What's udev process ? I've seen Universal Device. Hmm, but ?
After some cups of coffee, few long evenings, came through that the drivers were not the right ones for my graphic card. So, changing this, all the errors changed at boot time, and slowly could get all disappears at startup.
So, in my case, Udev FAILED, was a sig of something wrong but not that much useful to find a way out of it :( - at least for beginners.
