Dell Mini uses Broadcom, for that you will need to download and install broadcom-wl package. Do the following:
- edit /etc/rcS.conf, and remove the module "ssb" from LOAD_MODULES (the wl driver sometimes conflicts with the ssb module) - then from a terminal window, execute "tazpkg get-install broadcom-wl" - edit /etc/rcS.conf, add "wl" to LOAD_MODULES" - edit /etc/network.conf to enable wifi (note that the wireless interface shows up as eth1, not the default wlan0) - reboot
Hopefully you will have a working wireless connection. Once you have wifi working you can try adding ssb back to LOAD_MODULES and see if it works.
