Yes, it is easy:
plug it in. Open pcmanfm, the already installed file manager (3. icon from the left in the docking bar).
It is a split window. On the left you see the storage media. Just click on your USB-drive. It is then automatically mount.
If you like you may open a konsole and type ,,mount". It lists all mounted devices - and it would list mistakes when mounting them.

Vanilla software powering this board is buggy with any other web browser than Mozilla Firefox... We all hope a future update of Vanilla will fix it.
