Can't get wireless card to work...

    Hi,
    I've followed the man's and guides but i get this error and I can't find the answer (yet)..
    command:

    dmesg | tail

    output:

    I'm using an Acer Aspire 1680.
    Also the command "tazhw" is returning "unknown comand".

    Any ideas?

    the ipw2200 module is in linux-wireless, did you install it?

    and the command is  "tazwh detect-pci" and of course you must be root

    Did you install the firmware ?
    ipw2200: ipw2200-bss.fw request_firmware failed: Reason -2
    Connect to internet with ethernet:
    #subox wifibox
    Drivers tab / Firmware: ipw2200-firmware /Install

    Hello Kutex (and mojo :) ),
    sorry it took me solong to answer.

    Thanks 4 the tip, it was really the firmware...

    regarding the command (tazwh detect-pci),
    I was using it on slitaz aircrack-ng 31012009,
    so my fault... sorry.
