[SOLVED] Slitaz Cooking problem

    I downloaded the latest Cooking version and created a CD for booting. When I boot with this CD I get most of the boot messages but then all of a sudden the screen goes blank - obviously some issue with Xorg. Has anyone else had this experience? If so I would appreciate if you can tell me how to fix this issue. I have used the CD on a machine with Nvidia card and also on one with ATI Radeon card with the same result.

    It's the latest build of Slitaz cooking

    I have no troubles to run it with X31 (ATI Technologies Inc Radeon Mobility M6 LY)

    try to install the ati driver direct

    Thanks Kultex. Another work around was to boot with 'slitaz screen=text' command and then modify the screen.conf file to include 'Modes "1024x768" and then start slim. Not a great way to fix the problem, I admit. I will try out the method outlined in the above posts one of these days.
