SOLVED Setting keymap to German does not work

    Hi all

    Recently I installed Slitaz-cooking. I have a Nvidia GeForce 9500 GT and want to use the nvidia-driver so I installed xorg and activated nv in xorg.conf (nvidia as on Ubuntu doesn't work). Since then Slitaz uses the english keymap. Editing xorg.conf (XkbLayout de und XkbVariant de_DE), using tazkeymap don't change anything. Locale shows me that everything is configured to use German (de_DE), but in fact I have the english keymap. How can I change it?

    try this (just the hal rule relative to keyboard, let your xorg.conf there):

    then restart both hal and slim

    After uninstalling the package xorg-xf86-input-evdev everything is fine...
