    that simple question is this...

    How to install slitaz on asus eeePC 4G (2007 model with 4gb HD) via usb pendrive...I made bootable USB with tazUSB, and an alternative with Unetbootin... The downloaded iso-s are the ones of slitaz-coocking from the main slitaz website...but when i click on slitaz installer then i get the message that rootfs.gz file is missing...I just don`t get it it all works fine when running in ram (even the atheros wireless drivers)...

    mount -t iso9660 -o loop /pathtoslitazcooking.iso /media/cdrom ?

    Hi,

    @ernia : paulidaliste use a liveUSB, not a liveCD

    @paulidaliste : you can find instructions about install Slitaz on HD here :
    http://www.slitaz.org/en/doc/handbook/install.html

    The important step are :
    * copy the kernel (bzImage or vmlinuz*) into your hd in the folder /boot/
    * eventually rename it correctly (vmlinuz-2.6.30.6)
    * copy the rootfs.gz into the root of your hd
    * extract the rootfs.gz
    * remove rootfs.gz and Init from the root of your hd
    * install grub (or modidy the grub of another system installed on the same hd)
