Still no help with the sound card

and still no sound comes out from my speakers...
when I try to play wav file with aplay i get output just in root mode, and not in tux mode...Help help help

Which version are you using? I remember problems with UDev rules & also user/group permissions with 2.0.

i tried all of the above and this is the final result...
i use slitaz 2.0 and my sound is BACK!!!! thanks a lot...Slitaz forum is not just quite easy to search through...but the problem vas that my sound group was not added properly to /etc/groups/ and now everything works just fiiine....
