I've just installed wicd. 1) I think it lacks pygtk as a dendency, the client give a "no module named gtk" error. Works installing pygtk. 2) The shebang in /usr/sbin/wicd and /usr/bin/wicd-client is #!/bin/bash, so it give a "not found" error if bash is not installed, as in my slitaz. Works changing the shebang to #!/bin/sh. Thanks for the package, and for slitaz too, it has replaced arch in my usb key :-)
Thanks for the reports; I hope the maintainer of wicd picks it up :)
Does it work if you leave the shebang as bash and install the bash package? I think that somewhere in the script, a little bit of logic may cause it to fail, given the differences between Sh and Bash. Just a thought.
