sound problems revamped in slitaz 2.0

    even if i saw the previous discussions about sound-output problems in previous versions of slitaz I could not belive that it will happen to me with my new favorite OS :). It is a problem with snd-via82xx device...Slitaz does not recognize it and no matter what i do (soundconf, modprobe, editing 40-alsa.rules, installing older versions of linux-sound) does not help me...i am desparate to find a solution...I installed it cleanly yesterday and it was a stable version...but after update (tazpkg upgrade i have also a coocking verision im my Grub screen)...maybe that has something to do with it?

    I think you may have had tazpkg set-release cooking,did an upgrade, and hosed slitaz-2.0
    My advice don't upgrade/update period,if you must backup the entire partition with partimage first.
    You curious about cooking,download the iso,run it live, don't install.
    Post detailed results from every step I put in Fabians tutorial.
    He's never had sound so who knows where it will lead.
    I will look at your results and comment here.
    Otherwise backup your data,repartition,reinstall slitaz-2.0 , you have sound again.
