no hard drive install

    i have a laptop with a BAD hard drive. is there anyway to NOT run the live cd and install in the RAM?

    Nope. Can you use a usb flash drive?

    You might be able to use an external hard drive with frugal install (boots to ram) or make a tazusb usb flash drive (boots to ram).

    Unfortunately, there is no documentation on how to do a slitaz frugal install on anything except a windows system.
