No sound with the sound card ENSONIQ 1371

    I installed slitaz, but I have no sound with my ENSONIQ 1371 card. The command lsmod replies me : snd_ens1371 19204 0. I manage to lauch alsamixer with su user but not with the normal user, I have this error : alsamixer: function snd_ctl_open failed for default: Permission denied.
    Anyone have the same issue or a solution ?

    which iso are you using? I am using cooking 20091104 -I have no problem opening alsamixer as a user.
    The only thing I can imagine, that you created a new user and this user is not member of the group audio

    do as root: addgroup "username" audio

    do the same with the group cdrom, video.. if you have problems with burnbox or videoplayer ...

    Thanks, it works.
    I edited the /etc/group file and added my user to the audio group.
    I was tried "adduser -G audio my_user" but it doesn't work with already created user.
