Não esta ativando a placa Wireless

Estou com problemas para ativar a placa Wireless. O sistema reconheceu a placa, mas não esta ativando. Ele não mostra as redes sem fio disponível. Como faço para ativar? Alguém pode ajudar.

Olá.
apenas para ativar creio que é:
# /sbin/udhcpc -b -i eth1 -p /var/run/udhcpc.eth1.pid
Considerando que a interface seja eth1 (a minha é)
Mas eu uso os passos:
# modprobe meu_modulo_wireless (para subir o módulo)
# iwconfig eth1 essid nomedasuarede
# iwconfig eth1 key s:suasenha
# /sbin/udhcpc -b -i eth1 -p /var/run/udhcpc.eth1.pid
