ok - it seems, that the audio CD player plugin is missing, this has to be added seperat - same as wav/aiff/flac plugin - http://deadbeef.sourceforge.net/plugins-autogen.html
but it is only available for 4.3
Thus 4.4 seems to be an important bugfix release, I think deadbeef should be updated to 4.4 and hopefully the plugins for 4.4 are soon available

Edit: I just have seen, that the plugins are available through tazpkg, but the CD player plugin is missing
