Hello, I looked at the documentation and could only find instructions on how to do a frugal install onto a DOS/Windows partition with Grub4Dos. Is there a way to install Slitaz frugally onto a new, empty hard drive (so that I can run the entire system in RAM)? Also, how would data persistence be set up in this case? Thanks!
I suggest the first time to use tazusb to do a persistant frugal install on hard drive. As long as bootcode has home=/dev/sdXX or /dev/hdXX you have the create new filesystem compression option checkbox's for persistance when you logout or from right click submenu on desktop. Once you understand the steps involved and the tools required you can do it by hand.
