    i use the HP All in One scaner, and after i run xsane the program is shown "no devices available".

    how do we can fix this problem.

    Power on scanner
    Install xsane,sane-backends,libusb,libusb-compat,usbtools,usbutils
    Menu/System tools/Hardware detection and drivers
    Click on Scanner button
    My scanner did not show in list, so I enter for none in my setup
    Now I see scanner device listed in purple text

    /dev/bus/usb/004/002
    ========================================
    Verify scanner Permissions
    Your scanner must be in scanner group with 666 permissions
    crw-rw-rw- 1 root scanner 189, 385 Jun 22 19:44 /dev/bus/usb/0

    Reply y to start scanner
    Warning pops up about running scanner as root
    Click continue at your own risk button
    Agree to license
    Xsane opens and scanning works
    The user tux is auto added to scanner group so tux may scan.
    If you run under another user name that user can't scan until you add them to scanner group

    I've put this in the docs, as there was set-up info for a HP printer, but not scanner.
    --> http://doc.slitaz.org/en:guides:printer

    Might be moved to its own section if there's more to come!
